We will be holding a special membership meeting at our February match in order to hold an election for the new SDPS Sgt. at Arms board position.
Deadline for nominations is January 27th.
Term is for one year and duties of this position are as follows:
Sergeant at Arms – Shall maintain order during all SDPS meetings, ensure proper decorum, enforce the rules of the organization, and carry out the directives of the presiding officer, which may include managing the entry and exit of members and ensuring disruptions are addressed promptly. The Sergeant at Arms shall be responsible for establishing and chairing a committee which will be responsible for stage review and compliance to ensure that the club maintains its sanction with IDPA headquarters.
