SDPS March 2023 IDPS Match

The rain gods favored us for this Sunday’s match as we only caught a few sprinkles. The same cannot be said for Saturday’s set up crew as a good 30 minutes of wind, hail and rain pelted the range. Many thanks to Kevin Ballment and crew for doing the work so all could enjoy. Special kudos to Kevin for including the oscillating monkey for stage 3. That was very thoughtful! Our fearless leader, Ryan Harrigan, kicked off the match by announcing that signups were still needed for the May Western regional. We especially need staff for the match. Ryan will also be the match director for the April match. Please help on Saturday April 1st for the stage setup.

Ricky Wills has been shooting SDPS for six years and currently shoots ESP as an SS. Ricky will retire soon from his work as a real estate appraiser. This will give him extra time for shooting and his other passion, scuba diving. Let’s hope he steers clear of the sharks and keeps all his fingers and toes for the shooting sports.
