Join us for the 11th annual edition of The Western IDPA Regional Championship. This will be a Tier IV IDPA sanctioned regional championship match, with 14 Stages, equipment check/chrono. This match was previously known as the Western States IDPA Championship. Over the years this match has developed a reputation for providing challenging stages with creative design, a world class facility, and a beautiful environment in one of California’s best wine regions.

SCHEDULE:
Staff: May 1st-2nd
Main-Match: May 3rd-4th
Competitors will shoot half of the stages on each day of the Staff or Main-Match schedule.
Competitors are welcome to shoot with Match Staff.
There will be a limited number of spots to shoot available to shoot with staff.
We will NOT be having a traditional prize table, and prize recipients will be posted during the match. Shooting is set to conclude before 1:30 PM on Sunday, with awards slated for 2:30 PM or sooner. Ideally, this gets competitors on their way to the airport or on the road earlier than we’ve been able to do in previous years.

MATCH DIVISIONS / AWARDS & CATEGORIES RECOGNIZED:
The following IDPA divisions will be recognized ESP, SSP, CDP, CCP, REV, PCC, CO, and BUG. All classes from NV to DM
In addition to the division and class awards we will also be presenting awards for the following categories: High Lady, High Junior, High Senior, High Distinguished Senior , High Active Law Enforcement, High Active Military, High Veteran, High Industry, Most Accurate Optics, and Most Accurate Iron Sights
MATCH LUNCHES:
Lunch will be delivered to competitors on their assigned bays during the scheduled lunch break. Lunch break(s) will be limited to 30 minutes before shooting resumes. A lunch preference form will be emailed to competitors once the match is locked-in. Additional lunches will be ordered on each day, and will be made available subject to limited quantities on-hand.
MATCH REGISTRATION POLICY:
Open to staff and competitors with a valid IDPA classification of Novice and higher in the division entered. Online registration only, open until 04/30/25. Match capacity is 250 competitors. No changes to shooter registration or squadding after 04/04/2025 as squads and divisions will be locked.
LODGING:
Lodging is available close to the range in Folsom, Rancho Cordova, and Rancho Murietta. RV Camping is permitted on the range, with prior approval. There are NO hookups! If interested, email the Match Director at [email protected]
REFUNDS / WITHDRAWING FROM MATCH:
Competitors withdrawing from the match on or before 03/31/2025 will receive a refund, minus a $5 administrative fee.
MATCH CANCELLATION:
If the match is cancelled for any reason all competitors with paid registration will be issued a full refund.
MATCH BOOK:
A printable digital match book will be made available to competitors the week of the competition.
MATCH SHIRTS
Staff will be provided with staff shirts. We will send out a link for Competitor match shirts when it has been set up.
SDPS will be hosting a post match class by Austin Proulx DM a Wilson Combat Team shooter.
